Or the filmmakers of Giallo are screwed.

In Los Angeles this morning, a judge ruled in favor of actor Adrien Brody, who was suing the producer of the horror film for not being fully paid for the role.

In the official ruling, the filmamkers are forbidden to use Adrien's likeness until he is paid. Therefore, the movie can not be distributed, sold or even show in anyway until there is $640,000 more dollars in his pocket.

Wow! That's a lot to jip the guy. We'd be pissed too.

Better get a move on if you ever want that movie to see the light of day!

Our dear Britney Spears, stylishly bundled up for the chilly SoCal weather, stepped out for a little lunch date with her assistant/BFF Brett Miller in Calabasas, CA yesterday afternoon. As you can see, Britney and Brett paid a visit to their local Starbucks coffee shop to get themselves caffeinated after they lunched at California Pizza Kitchen. That’s my girl, keepin’ it real:

As you can see, not even the colder SoCal weather (highs in the 50s, y’all) has forced a change in Britney‘s Starbucks habit (and let’s be honest, it’s a habit she’s had for YEARS). While colder temps might inspire others to drink a hot drink, our dear Britney still got her beloved iced cappuccino. It’s great to see her out and about with Brett … tho, I wouldn’t mind seeing her in the company of her man Jason Trawick … but I’ll take my dear Britney any way I can :D

In the past computer-based music-making software program really high priced as well as out of the realm of beginners. Laurie Bembenek, Ex Bunny and Convict, Dies

(AP)  The prison escape of former Playboy Club bunny and Milwaukee police officer Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek popularized the phrase "Run Bambi Run" and seemed tailor-made for the TV movie it inspired. But despite the fame garnered by her flight, Bembenek died having spent more than two decades insisting on her innocence but never fully clearing her name. Her attorney said Sunday that effort will continue.

Textbook Series: Save on College Textbooks

When we hear the word 'model' many of us still imagine fresh faced, size zero, teens and twenties females in high fashion images, but is this an accurate portrayal of those who are able to get work in the modelling and entertainment industry? While it is true that certain areas are dominated by younger and slimmer looks there are many models and actors, that we all see every day, who do not fall into either category...

Musical Instruments That Can Be Learnt At Any Age

I grew up at my mother's knee listening to music. There she'd be, Schlitz Malt liquor in hand singing (yelling to the top of her lungs actually) to whatever happened to be playing on the stereo. Usually, anything from The Gap band, to Rene' and Angela, or most likely Confunkshun or Earth, Wind, and Fire would more than likely be bumping on the component system.

Co-stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith were spotted yesterday on the Pasadena, CA set of Glee as they filmed scenes for the upcoming Xmas episode of the show … here are a couple photos from the Glee set:

The Glee Xmas album went on sale this past Tuesday perfectly timed with this week’s filming. It’s unclear if this year’s Xmas ep will be an over-the-top musicfest or if it will bring back that heart and soul of the show that made us all fall in love with Glee in the first place but one thing’s for sure, we won’t have to wait too long to find out. They may still be filming the ep this week but it will be ready to air in just a few weeks time. Paris Hilton Does Community Service

Paris Hilton, wearing 4-inch high heels, showed up for work with the Hollywood Beautification Team here in SoCal this weekend to do some community service in order to start paying back her debt to society for the crimes she has been convicted of. Naturally, the sight of Paris Hilton engaged in any sort of manual [...]

Yesterday evening, before I made my way to the Viper Room to see American Hi-Fi LIVE in concert, I attended an opening day showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 at the ArcLight in Hollywood, CA. Without question, I loved every single second of the film and enjoyed it so thoroughly that I cannot wait to see it again:

JK Rowling‘s Harry Potter books are always so rich with detail and lush storytelling that the film versions, as good as they are, seem like watered down tales that pale in comparison to the original source material. Because the final Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows, has been turned into 2 films, that watered down feeling didn’t feel as heavy-handed as it does for previous films. True, not everything in the first half of Deathly Hallows is included in Part 1 but we do get much more of the story than we usually get from the film adaptations … and we have an entirely new film to look forward to as well. This final installment of the Harry Potter film franchise is very dark and very scary … even for adults. No lie, I jumped out of my seat a couple of times with actual fright. There’s a lot of sexiness going on as well … Daniel Radcliffe strips down to his underwear in parts of the film and the semi-naked kissing (fantasy) scene between Harry Potter and Hermoine Granger made me feel really … uncomfortable. Still, those elements are required of the story so they didn’t feel gratuitous … in fact, they added muchly to the tone of the film. I was very impressed with the animated scenes that were used for the retelling of The Tale of the Three Brothers within the film. All in all, the film impressed me greatly … I loved it entirely. I really, REALLY did not want the movie to end … and when it does, I gave an audible sigh of sadness. I fear I’ll be bawling my eyes out when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is released next Summer. I damn near bawled my eyes out this time!

I’m not sure how this film will play for folks who are unfamiliar with the Harry Potter books and/or movies but the other 98.7% of the planet should enjoy this film very much.

Arts and Entertainment:Music from EzineArticles.com

Started by the unique Black Sabbath while they tangled Heavy Blues sounds into a Heavy style of Metal all of their own, Doom Metal has become a whole genre in it's own right, now loved by a growing cult-following of Metal Heads. As well known bands such as Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica were shredding away at the faster Thrash Metal of the early 80's, less well-known groups were slowing down the tempo and pioneering the Doom genre. Often using gloomy and dark vocals, Doom is usually played at a slower pace than classic Heavy Metal or Hard Rock, and is always of a scarier and groovier sound than some of the more well-known styles of Heavy Metal.

How to Make Your Own Hip Hop Beats Why You Need Beat Making Software

Freestyle music is also known as Latin Hip Hop. Freestyle is a form of electronic music often using electronic drums and other synthesized beats. I became familiar with this style of music in the late 1980s when it was very popular. I was in college at the time and had a friend who was really into dance music. In fact, he was a DJ. I heard these songs on the radio, in dance clubs, and on cassette tapes.

How to Make Beats Learn What You Need to Make Quality Beats Fast

How can it be that a relatively new artist, like Lady Gaga, is causing the music charts to explode? If I have to guess it has to do with three factors: her looks (fashion), her sexuality (taboo) and her music (art). One can definitely say that it has helped lady G to conquer the top in such short time, but one can also conclude that this isn't the golden formula which'll make just any 'Jane Doe' a superstar.

The piano is one of the best instruments ever. This string instrument is loved by many because of the lovely tunes that it produces that is, without any marks of angst or loud and off key beat.

Why Are Music Lessons So Important When Starting a New Instrument?

Trying to learn playing the piano with piano sheets can be very intimidating to some people because those with no prior musical background would feel that they are left behind the trail. The content of sheet music is its own little language that is documented on paper. The key there is for you to find the crack so that you could decode, read music and be able to play or sing on the right pitch each of the notes.

Buying a Grand Piano

Many fans would agree that the Beatles used their charms as a kind of magic to draw many fans to them. This charm is easily displayed as a sense of being normal boys - cheerful, lovable, and always ready to smile or share a joke with others. Perhaps their friendship and camaraderie made it easier for them to be friendly with the public, press and fans.

In an effort to get out and enjoy the cool SoCal night last night, David and I ventured out for a little shopping trip at The Grove. For the most part we did a lot of window shopping but did enjoy a casual stroll around the outdoor shopping area. We stopped in at the Whisper Lounge for a couple of drinks and a bit of convo:

All in all it was a pretty nice and quiet night. My plans for tonight got changed up a bit. I was supposed to go to a screening of Tron: Legacy but it has been moved to Saturday night instead. I think David and I are going to try and meet up with our friend Jordan who we haven’t seen in an ice age … tho, it’s possible that we will enjoy another easy, breezy night of a whole lotta nothing.

Glastonbury Festival Why Is It So Popular?

In today's fast paced society it's very easy to forget that emotional background music is around us all the time manifesting itself in various different ways and forms, music for the most part acts as the backdrop to our lives and it is because we hear so much of it that we sometimes switch off and don't realize that it is there. Because music is a such a constant in our society these days this allows musicians who create emotional background music to thrive because there is always a function or event that requires high quality ambient noise to go with it and for some musicians it is far easier to create a composition when you already know the emotion and theme you are trying to create it around.

bristol-palin-man-shoots-tv-over-performance.jpg

But, but, but… it's not the T.V.'s fault she isn't very good!

Another senseless crime! What a life wasted!

Local authorities in Wisconsin arrested Steven Cowan this morning, after he starting shooting in his home while watching Dancing with the Stars. When officers finally apprehended the man, he confessed that he had shot his television to pieces over his rage of watching Bristol Palin dance on the show for another week.

Steven, who officials say suffers from bipolar disorder, began to lose it after yesterday night's show and fired his gun at the television set, before turning it on his wife. Thankfully, she was able to escape the house and get the police, who were told by Steven in a hectic rant that Palin was not a good dancer and only got on the show because of her famous mother.

He then was coaxed into surrendering and was whisked off to prison. He was charged with 2nd degree reckless endangerment and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Geez! We'd hate to be around him if she actually wins! Insanity!
